“I've been to Rote five times and every time I've stayed at Anugerah, the place is so unique and still has the traditional pondok buildings along with new rooms with air conditioning. The staff are great and all from the local area. They greet with huge smiles and are super helpful. Erasmus and Mike are amazing and offer great information about the island and surf spots. Mike is great with scuba diving and knows some great spots to see manta rays. I'm looking forward to returning.”

“Just got back from spending a week at this place... wow! We got some great waves right out front with all boat transfers and food included. The accommodation was perfect, nothing fancy but everything you need for a surf trip. The staff are really amazing! Always going out of their way to accommodate whatever you need! The spa located within the resort is first class! Metha is a star! Will definitely be heading back here again.”

“Good vibes, warm water, pumping surf, many beers, many games. What more do you need.”

Matthew S.

“Paradise for those that look for the place that has not been totally commercialized. Cute huts, natural but basic and lots of waves for the surfers. Motorbikes to explore the island, not getting caught up in traffic. If you want a place like Bali 40 years ago than that's the place. It reminded me a little of Goa in 1968. However, the big difference is that the food is regular, good and plenty and the rooms are somewhat cozy, even though a little fixing would do them good. Transport is fine, prices are also ok. Go there before it changes.”
