For divers that have already achieved the PADI open water diver certification and want to advance their skills and knowledge, the PADI advanced open water diver course is the logical next step. The standard program includes 5 dive modules and 5 knowledge reviews, but no exams, over a 2 day period, (which can be spaced between surf days if preferred).

Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation are the compulsory core modules, and clients then choose three more adventure dives from the following menu: Drift Dive, Underwater digital photography, underwater naturalist, Peak Performance Buoyancy and many others by application. Participants should be aged at least 12years and have their junior PADI Open Water Diver or similar qualifying certification. Divers aged between 12-14 years old obtain Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification upon course completion.

Course overview:

Day 1.
We start at 7.00 in the morning and will make 3 dive on one of our dive spots around Rote island. There are 2 dives that you can choose 1 of the dives for this day is going to be the underwater navigation dive.
We will be back at the resort around 13.00 and have we will do the knowledge reviews.

Day 2.
Today we are going to make 2 dive on one of our dive sites around Rote. Again we will be leaving with the boat at 7.00 in the morning and be back around 12.00. The first dive will be the deep dive were we will go to a maximum depth of 30 m and you will proform a couple of skills there. The next dive is going to be one of your choice.After we come back to the resort/dive school, your PADI dive instructor will certify you. You will get a temporary card and you official certification will be send to your home address that you gave to us.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course includes:
