A family owned business which has been accommodating surfers since 1995. It has slowly grown into the most popular resort on Rote, the Nemberala accommodation, due to the friendly atmosphere, impeccable service, unrivalled location and reasonable pricing. The word Anugerah means “Blessed” or “Grace” and the expression is highly appropriate, for both the guests and owners alike, who are blessed indeed to spend time in this truly beautiful corner of the world.

We provide a range of full service packages offering clean accommodation in Nemberala, exceptional food, a bar, beautiful swimming pool, and a range of other services including dive trips and courses, and boat transport to the reef and around the island.
ROOMS
We have a range of differently priced packages to suit a range of budgets and group sizes. Below is a list of rates for the various rooms. All prices include accommodation, bedding and three meals per day, Boat trips to the main break here at Nemberala. All other services incur an extra charge at stated rates.
Standard Bungalow
These are our simplest rooms with two or three beds, a fan, 1 mosquito net per bed, and en-suite bathroom, featuring a cold shower and flushing toilet. Despite the price, they are clean, well-appointed and popular with those on lower budgets.

Deluxe Rooms
These are our best rooms with air conditioning, double bed or 2 single beds. The bathroom is spacious with flushing toilet, sink and shower.

The food menu varies daily, with a standard breakfast of fruit salad followed by eggs, toast and a pancake, or nasi goreng for those that prefer a more traditional Indonesian breakfast. Lunch is usually a chicken or fish dish with rice and vegetables and a salad. Dinner is usually a similar style of meal with a different meat dish, followed by a simple desert. Vegetarians can be catered for with a personal menu by arrangement. Servings are generous and customers never complain of going hungry.
Meal times are fairly relaxed to accommodate surfing at odd hours. A rolling breakfast starts from 7.00-9.00am(ish), lunch is from midday, and dinner from 6.30 pm. Tea and coffee are available all day. Other snack foods like ice creams, soft drinks, crisps and chocolate are available from the restaurant at reasonable rates.
FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED
The resort is still owned and managed by the Frans family and staffed by friendly Nemberala locals. Erasmus (“Moose”) Frans is the eldest son of the family and the resort manager. He is an experienced local surfer with a degree in English and Economics, and works tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the resort. His wife Elizabeth is the restaurant manager, and also does everything possible to keep the meal quality at a high standard.
